MICROFLUIDICS. MEGA INSIGHTS.

An integrated RNA-seq workflow for significant cost savings on reagents and labor | Steve Kain, PhD

RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) has become the standard for expression profiling methods in cells, tissues and complete organisms. We have developed an elegant microfluidics-based chemistry and workflow—the Advanta™ RNA-Seq XT NGS Library Prep Kit. Leveraging the Juno™ instrument, our RNA-Seq workflow supports simultaneous processing of up to 48 samples with a one-click script on our instrument. We have recently updated our kits to include unique dual index (UDI) adapters, ideal for use on Illumina® NovaSeq™ platforms, and we have simplified the workflow for additional savings of hands-on time and labor costs. Advanta RNA-Seq XT NGS Library Prep Kits include reagents necessary to generate random-primed, stranded RNA-seq libraries from the polyadenylated RNA fraction present in as low as 10 ng of total RNA from eukaryotic organisms. In this webinar we will show performance data from several of our internal studies as well as from early-access customers. We will also describe studies in progress to utilize RNA-seq for analysis of the host immune response in COVID-19 subjects.
